After ending 2012 on a high with a jam packed Sin nightclub for Richard Durand, Trance Army Ireland are starting off big in 2013 with a whole new venue and a massive lineup with two TAI debut DJ's! Trance heavyweight Sean Tyas is back in Ireland for the first time since early 2012 while Marlo makes his Irish debut at the same time. This is all happening in the brand new Green Room @ The Academy just off O'Connell St.
Support on the night comes from TAI resident SeeOSee, fellow Dublin promoter & Filth's own Alex Ryan as well as Vibration's Deco O'C.

This month we're proud to have interviewed one of the real legends of dance music in the world. A pioneer of the famous BXR sound, he's had no less than two UK Top 20 hits with one even reaching number 5! He visited Dublin earlier this year for a Temple Theatre reunion we'll never forget and he's back on December 26th for Subculture at Andrews Lane Theatre! It is of course, from Italy:

The facts of the situation are in short supply right now however it appears that Dash Berlin (Or his management at least) has declined to play at ASOT600 due to the DJ fee which has been offered by ASOT event promoters ALDA. Whatever happened, Armin felt strongly enough about this to post about it publicly on Twitter in reply to Dash Berlin Tweeting that he would not be playing at the event.
More details as they become clear....

Coming from similar musical roots as Ferry Corsten maybe it's no surprise Gary Maguire has got to where he is so fast - Not just signed to, but put in charge of the Discover Dark label all in the space of 4 years. Garys high energy sound has also landed him tracks on Fraction & Paul Oakenfolds Perfecto labels, as well as gigs in the UK, Mexico, Argentina & more. He enjoys support from the worlds biggest Trance DJ's like Armin Van Buuren (Most recently on ASOT 577), Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold & John Askew. Not three bad for a wee man from Kyavan! We've been following Garys progress through the years & he was always going to be a shoo-in for our interview series, so we got in touch & here's the results!

A&B: Today we're incredibly excited to announce the launch of our new weekly radio show: Group Therapy Radio.
It wasn't an easy decision to say goodbye to TATW. Episode 449 was full of memories that have shaped our journey as artists and we've been blown away by all your messages. But Group Therapy has somehow evolved to sum up everything we do. It captures the relationship between us, our music and you, our audience, and the magic that happens when those three things interact. It's something you've all taken into your hearts and it lies at the centre of everything that we do - the community, the connection, the interaction.

John Askew is without doubt one of the hottest tech/trance producer/djs in the world.
Over the last decade his productions and remixes have seen massive support from Eddie Halliwell, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk who has employed John’s remix skills repeatedly on his highly respected Vandit label.
John publically announced that he has cut back on the amount of gigs he is doing, but has kindly agreed to play for us this time as a once off. You do not want to miss this!!!

Jay Z is a man who knows a good business deal. So it comes as no surprise he's signed one of the world's biggest DJs to Roc Nation.
The label owner has signed Sander Van Doorn's single, 'Nothing Inside'. Doorn will be joining artists Chase & Status, Santigold, Calvin Harris, and MIA.

Whatever angle you look at it from, Simon Patterson is the f*cking daddy of Tech Trance. He has almost single handedly moulded the genre into the diverse sound it is today & we can safely say there isn't a clubber on earth who hasn't shat the load upon hearing the latest Patterson track on a dancefloor. From Bulldozer to Miss You, from Us to Always & right up to his brand new remix for Neelix. His label Night Vision has been cleaning up for the last year+ with tracks from himself, Downey, Sentience, Askew, Webster & more and his Digital Showdown Podcast continues to bitchslap all who listen each month with a healthy dose of Psy / Tech Trance.
Was that introduction really necessary ? Definitely not, but f*ck it, it's done now. We fired him a few questions & here's the result!
